Therefore, Tamilnad Mercantile bank Ltd. has introduced TMB Net Banking to let the customers avail there services with more advanced and secured method. TMB along with net banking has the facility of M-banking for the more sophisticated management of the bank account and transactions. As far as the security is concerned while using net banking, its website starts with ‘https’ which refers to that the site is safe to use completely. It is Norton secured powered by Symantec.

How to register for net banking?

Application form can be collected from the home branch where you are maintaining your account and submit it duly filled to the same for registration of net banking. Otherwise you can also download the application form from its official website

What are the services available on mobile banking and net banking?

A number of services and even more are offered by TMB mobile banking and net banking as follows:
• Managing account like balance, details, mini statement, and account summary
• Fund transfer or third party transfer between your account or other account of the same branch/other branch
• Transfer through NEFT or RTGS or IMPS to accounts other than of home branch.
• Online bill payment of electricity or water, and opening deposit online
• Viewing status of cheque, or stop the payment of the same
• Change in login Id/password/transaction password
• Changing personal info

How to get/change/ reset password?

In case, you have forgotten or lost password you can change or reset it on customized menu displaying ‘change password option’. Here you can change your sign on or transaction passwords also.

What is the procedure of M-banking?

In TMB M-banking, it includes two further services as IMPS and MMID. IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) can be used for instant electronic fund transfer service which is available 24*7. It facilitates customers to use their mobile as a medium to manage their account and perform transactions on the go. MMID (Mobile Money Identifier), is a 7 digit code which is issued by the bank top its customers who have registered their mo bile numbers with the bank to avail the services of IMPS. You can get your MMID for your account via SMS, type MMID and send it to 9282112225 and you will receive MMID to start M-banking.

Where to download android or java apps form-banking?

You can download app for net banking after you have registered for the same. Further you will have to sms ‘download’ and send it to 9282112225. A SMS with a URL link will be sent to you. Click on the URL and you will get the app to download after selecting your mobile model number and name.
This process can be used for both the JAVA and Android phones.
